[Hiring] Part-Time Accountant @Rooted Talents

Role Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly dependable Accountant to support the finance team for a growing multi-unit restaurant organization. This role will primarily focus on bank reconciliations, account reviews, and maintaining clean and accurate financial records across multiple entities and locations. Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations
• Investigate and resolve reconciliation discrepancies independently
• Review financial transactions and ensure accuracy of accounting records
• Assist with general ledger maintenance and account analysis
• Support month-end close activities and financial clean-up
• Monitor and reconcile credit card transactions and deposits
• Maintain organized accounting documentation and audit-ready records
• Work closely with the finance leadership team to identify issues and recommend solutions
• Assist with additional accounting and operational finance tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
• Strong understanding of reconciliations and general accounting principles
• Experience with Restaurant365 (R365) is highly preferred
• Experience supporting multi-location or restaurant businesses is a plus
• Proficient in Excel / Google Sheets
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal English communication

Benefits

• Compensation: $700
• Schedule: 20 hours per week (6 to 10 AM Manila time – 12 PM to 4 PM Hawaii time)
