Role Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented, experienced Paraplanner to join our collaborative team in the North West. In this role, you will provide critical technical support to our Financial Advisers. You will be responsible for researching, preparing, and drafting comprehensive, compliant financial reports and suitability lettersβwith a particular emphasis on pensions, investments, and complex inheritance tax planning.

Financial Report Preparation:
Draft detailed, accurate suitability reports and financial plans that meet client objectives across pensions, investments, and IHT.

Research & Analysis:
Conduct thorough market research and technical analysis to support robust advice recommendations.

Consumer Duty Champion:
Ensure all recommendations and reports align with FCA Consumer Duty principles, putting client outcomes first.

Adviser Collaboration:
Maintain clear, professional communication with advisers to ensure client needs are perfectly understood and deadlines are met.

File Management & Compliance:
Ensure all client files are accurate, complete, and fully compliant with internal policies and regulatory standards.
Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of paraplanning experience within a UK IFA firm.

Strong product knowledge across a range of wrappers (pensions, protections, bonds, and trusts).

Ideally, experience with complex, IHT-efficient products (e.g., AIM and BR solutions).

Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent) is essential.

A solid, practical understanding of FCA regulations and Consumer Duty principles.
