Role Description
The NetSuite Bookkeeper is responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and compliant bookkeeping services using NetSuite accounting software. This role supports multiple clients within a professional services environment, handling day-to-day transaction processing, reconciliations, and financial reporting. The position requires strong hands-on experience in NetSuite and a solid understanding of bookkeeping fundamentals to ensure clients receive clear, up-to-date financial information that supports compliance and informed decision-making.

Process day-to-day financial transactions in NetSuite, including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.

Manage invoice processing, customer billing, vendor payments, and expense allocations within NetSuite.

Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations in NetSuite, identifying and resolving discrepancies promptly.

Maintain accurate and complete general ledger records in accordance with accounting standards.

Generate standard and customized financial reports from NetSuite, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow reports.

Support month-end and year-end close activities by ensuring transactions are complete and reconciled.

Review financial data for accuracy and consistency, escalating issues or anomalies as needed.

Collaborate with accountants and advisory team members to support compliance and reporting requirements.

Assist with process improvements and documentation to enhance efficiency within NetSuite workflows.
Qualifications

3+ years of hands-on experience in bookkeeping using NetSuite accounting software.

Strong practical knowledge of transaction processing in NetSuite, including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.

Proven experience generating financial and management reports in NetSuite.

Strong understanding of bank reconciliation processes within NetSuite.

Solid foundation in bookkeeping principles and general ledger management.

Experience with other accounting or financial software is advantageous, but NetSuite expertise is essential.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a professional services environment.
