Role Description

Responsible for completing and delivering all required RESPA disclosures on new loan applications. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Complete and deliver all required RESPA disclosures on new loan applications.
• Order appraisals.
• Order title commitments.
• Conduct written and verbal verifications of employment.
• Request tax transcripts.
• Order flood certifications.
• Perform other projects and duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be familiar with general mortgage terms and have knowledge of the documents required for the processing and closing of mortgage loans.
• This position requires strong organizational and communication skills.
• The individual must be able to concentrate in an open and fast-paced environment, have a high degree of accuracy, and be able to work well under pressure.
• The individual must have strong communication skills and be able to develop relationships with co-workers, attorneys, and appraisers.
• Must be able to prioritize, follow instructions, take direction from others, and work well alone or in a group.
• Incumbent delivers the highest level of service at all times to both internal and external customers.
• The individual must obtain, be able to recall, and apply information on various federal regulations that apply in the mortgage industry.
• Will be required to retain and apply knowledge of company policies and procedures on a daily basis.
• Must apply common sense reasoning, be able to request assistance from others when needed, and/or rely on judgment, prior experience, and discretion to complete tasks associated with established policies, procedures, and regulations.

Requirements

• 1 - 2 years of Mortgage industry related experience, preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
