Role Description
The Para Broker owns the full mortgage file lifecycle, taking a broad fact find from the broker and running the deal all the way through to settlement and beyond. Day to day, you will:

Complete fact finds, assess deals, and select the right lender and product tier across prime, near-prime, and specialist lending.

Prepare recommendations, handle pricing and lodgement through AOL, clear conditions, and manage post-settlement repricing.

Work on non-conforming, low-doc, and specialist scenarios, including SME clients, ATO debts, defaults, and tight LVRs.

Run a high-volume pipeline with full accountability, supported by resources such as Brokipedia, lender policy tools, and AI tools.
Qualifications

Proven experience as a para broker, credit analyst, or senior loan processor within Australian mortgage broking.

Strong working knowledge of Australian lending, including non-conforming, low-doc, and specialist lenders such as Bluestone, MA Money, and similar third-tier lenders.

Confident assessing deals and matching clients to the correct lender tier.

Sound commercial judgement and common sense, able to move a file forward without being spoon-fed every detail.

Thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and stays accurate while juggling many files at once.

Excellent written and verbal English.

Highly organised with strong attention to detail and a genuine sense of accountability.

Comfortable using CRM systems, lender portals, Brokipedia, and AI tools.
