Role Description
Olsson is seeking an experienced Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst to play a key role in evaluating, executing, and integrating M&A opportunities. This position will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and partner closely with the Chief Development Officer and technical teams to support strategic growth initiatives. The Analyst will assess strategic fit, support due diligence efforts - including business and financial analysis - and assist in developing deal structures, succession plans, and transition strategies.

Build and maintain detailed financial models, including DCF, LBO, accretion/dilution and merger consequences analyses.

Conduct target screening, industry research, and valuation benchmarking to support pipeline development.

Lead financial due diligence workstreams; quality of earnings review, working capital analysis, normalization adjustments and synergy quantification.

Create and monitor business performance metrics of deals, including key performance indicator tracking, profitability analysis and trend analysis.

Support post-close integration tracking – synergy realization, purchase accounting and performance vs. deal thesis.

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or a related field required.

Minimum of 4 years’ experience in mergers and acquisitions, investment banking, corporate finance or related field.

Experience with financial modeling, valuation, and analytical problem-solving.

Demonstrated quantitative and analytical mindset.

Ability to work in fast-paced environments while managing competing priorities.

Strong collaboration skills and team-oriented mindset.

Ability to travel occasionally as needed.
Requirements

The typical annual salary range for this role is $80,000 - $153,000 USD.

Compensation may vary based on geographic location, experience, and qualifications.
