[Hiring] Manufacturing Accountant @Chemtrade

Role Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Accountant to support financial operations within a manufacturing environment overseeing multiple plants across the United States. This role is responsible for:

• Product costing
• Inventory accounting
• Financial reporting
• Budgeting
• Business partnering with operations to drive performance and support decision-making

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage monthly close activities related to manufacturing operations.
• Analyze manufacturing costs, inventory, and production variances.
• Maintain standard costing and support annual cost updates.
• Prepare financial reports, forecasts, budgets, and performance analyses.
• Reconcile inventory and support physical inventory counts.
• Partner with Operations and Supply Chain teams to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and audit requirements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and ERP system enhancements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA designation (or working toward CPA) preferred.
• 5+ years of accounting or finance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong understanding of inventory accounting, standard costing, and variance analysis.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA preferred).
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities.
