Role Description
The Manager will be part of the FP&A Business Intelligence (BI) team, which supports the FP&A Director of PXP, Publicisβ production capability. In this role, the Manager will be in constant contact with the PXP CFO and FP&A Director, the US FP&A team, and Finance Directors within the PXP agencies. The Manager will report to one of the FP&A and Client Reporting Directors within the East BI Hub.
Responsibilities

Support the PXP CFO and FP&A Director with day-to-day financial and analytical tasks

Autonomously manage monthly and recurring FP&A deliverables and oversee workload coordination in partnership with the FP&A Director

Prepare and deliver monthly financial reporting, highlighting risks and opportunities with timely and accurate analysis

Lead recurring reporting activities, ensuring processes are efficient and proactive corrective actions are taken in coordination with the FP&A Director

Support monthly financial reporting including P&L and Trade Working Capital (overdue, receivables, WIP) for actuals, forecasts, and budgets, including revenue reporting and agency profitability

Work closely with the FP&A Director on cost analysis, HFM organizational structure, and relationship management with agency finance leads

Analyze budget versus actual costs to ensure PXP profitability targets are met

Analyze Business Development data through Salesforce, including pitch activity and prospecting financials, to ensure alignment with forecasting and budgeting

Collect, consolidate, and analyze recurring financial requests across the PXP perimeter

Collaborate with Group Corporate Finance and support the FP&A Director on special and cross-functional projects as needed

Drive reporting accuracy and partner with other FP&A Managers to provide consultative support to planning initiatives through financial analysis, reporting, and recommendations

Perform variance analysis of actuals versus budget and forecast across all P&L line items and headcount

Qualifications
-
Approximately 5 years of relevant experience in Corporate Finance, FP&A, and/or Audit
-
Fast learner with the ability to prioritize effectively, maximize efficiency, and collaborate with management to meet deadlines

Strong ability to build positive working relationships with PXP Finance Directors and US FP&A teams

Ability to work remotely as needed

Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail

Solid knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles

Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills

Advanced Excel proficiency (macros are a plus)

Required experience with HFM (Hyperion), SmartView, or Essbase
