Role Description
The Manager - Accounting & Entity Management will be responsible for managing a portfolio of global clients from a Technical Accounting & Service delivery perspective, utilizing significant client relationship experience for timely & accurate delivery of accounting services to empower our clientβs growth ambitions. For this role, we are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant.

Ensure that the team performs the scope of work effectively while delivering exceptional service to existing customers, ensuring that everyone is working towards their individual, team and company goals.

Allocate resources effectively to meet work objectives and deadlines.

Responsible for the delivery of relevant Accounting & Entity management contracted tasks.

Responsible for Procedures & processes documentation (Process level, client level, country level).

Responsible for client satisfaction under their portfolio.

Responsible for working with other client-facing managers to manage client escalations through to resolution, undertaking root cause analysis where appropriate.

Input to the ongoing Development on AEM Service Portfolio, Oversight on AEM Profit & Loss.

Work closely with other departments to understand processes and provide insights.

Make recommendations for improving effectiveness of policies and procedures, maximizing new client engagement and developing plans to meet future needs.

Always adheres to and demonstrate the Safeguard Global company values leading by example to direct reports. Ensure that duties, responsibilities, and accountability of all direct subordinates are defined and understood.
Qualifications

The candidate must be a qualified Chartered Accountant.

5+ years operations experience, preferably experience in accounting services.

In-depth knowledge of building efficient business processes and team performance metrics.

Demonstrated record of experience in planning and managing at both a strategic and operational level using metrics to measure success and determine required resources in a planning capacity.

Demonstrated track record of growing internal talent and preparing people for new and expanded responsibilities.

Demonstrable knowledge of team organization changes and its impact on performance.

In-depth knowledge of Accounting Principles, thorough knowledge of Accounting & Entity Management services, concepts, and practices, tools, and processes for identifying process improvements.

Excellent oral communication skills and the ability to resolve misunderstandings and errors in a diplomatic manner.

Consultative abilities & interpersonal skills with varying levels of customers and partners.
