This opportunity sits within the Business Advisory & Virtual CFO division, working closely with a diverse portfolio of business clients. You will play a key role in delivering management accounting services, supporting financial decision-making, and partnering with clients to improve systems, processes and performance outcomes.

• Manage management accounting and bookkeeping services across a portfolio of SME business clients
• Review payroll, BAS, IAS, PAYGW, payroll tax and superannuation obligations
• Prepare and review monthly management reports, reconciliations and end-of-year processes
• Support clients with cashflow management, budgeting, forecasting and acquittals
• Assist with entity reporting including ACNC, audit and franchise reporting requirements
• Partner with clients to improve finance systems, processes and operational efficiency
• Respond to client queries and provide ongoing financial and advisory support
• Attend client sites as required to deliver hands-on support and insight
• Mentor and support junior team members within the division
• Contribute to continuous improvement across service delivery and client outcomes

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in management accounting, bookkeeping or business services roles
• Strong understanding of payroll, BAS, IAS and compliance requirements
• Experience preparing and reviewing management reports and reconciliations
• Exposure to SME clients across multiple industries
• Strong client communication and relationship management skills
• High attention to detail with strong organisational and time management ability
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when required
• Proactive, solutions-focused and commercially minded approach
• Interest in Virtual CFO, advisory and client business improvement work
