Role Description
Sprout Social is looking to hire a Lead International Accountant for the Finance team.
As a member of Sproutโs finance team, youโll help better position Sprout for future growth while maintaining compliance and integrity at the highest level. Our team values transparency and direct ownership of responsibilities.
You will:

Own the overall international accounting processes, including compliance.

Provide advanced expertise and ensure the accurate and timely completion of financial statements for our 7 international subsidiaries.

Work closely with tax, payroll, legal, and other accounting teams to meet all deadlines and obligations.

Function as a project manager for collaboration on compliance deliverables.

Oversee five international audits from beginning to end with third-party partners.

Own the relationship with third-party service providers for local filings and compliance.

Drive process improvements for operational efficiency.

Review the work of team members and provide coaching and feedback.

Be the go-to person for international accounting and related processes.
Qualifications

Bachelorโs Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent business degree.

6+ years of experience in Accounting or Audit, including 2+ years in International accounting.

Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements

Experience managing relationships and compliance with a third-party accounting-service provider.

Hands-on experience with accounting tools like NetSuite and Excel.
