Role Description
We are looking for detail-oriented and organised Invoice Clerks to join our remote team and assist with invoice preparation, processing, record keeping, and financial administration.

Prepare and issue customer invoices accurately and on time.

Capture invoice information into the company's accounting or invoicing system.

Verify invoices against quotations, purchase orders, delivery notes, waybills, and supporting documentation.

Check calculations, quantities, rates, VAT, and other applicable charges.

Process and maintain supplier and customer invoice records.

Follow up on missing documentation required for invoicing.

Assist with credit notes, invoice corrections, and account queries.

Maintain an organised electronic filing system for invoices and supporting documents.

Reconcile invoices against relevant job files and freight documentation.

Assist the accounts and operations teams with invoice-related queries.

Maintain confidentiality of company and client financial information.

Perform general administrative duties related to billing and accounts.
Qualifications

Grade 12 / Matric or equivalent.

Previous experience in invoicing, accounts administration, finance administration, or a similar role.

Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.

Strong numerical and data-entry skills.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Good written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Good organisational and time-management skills.

Reliable internet connection and suitable computer for remote work.

Previous experience in logistics, freight, transport, or clearing and forwarding will be an advantage.
