[Hiring] Investment Tax Manager @Aston Carter

Role Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented tax professional to support tax provision activities within a large financial services organization. This role will primarily focus on investment-related tax accounting, working closely with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and support quarterly and annual tax provisions (ASC 740), including current and deferred tax calculations
• Analyze investment-related tax impacts, including fixed income, equities, and alternative investments
• Assist with financial reporting requirements and documentation tied to tax provision processes
• Collaborate with accounting, finance, and investment teams to gather necessary data inputs
• Support audits and respond to internal/external inquiries related to tax provisions
• Utilize tax and investment systems to extract and analyze financial data

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3+ years of tax experience, ideally within financial services, insurance, or asset management
• Experience with tax provisions (ASC 740) strongly preferred
• Exposure to investment or fund accounting is highly desirable
• Proficiency with tax software and advanced Excel skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight reporting deadlines

• This is a Permanent position based out of Boston, MA.
• The pay range for this position is $115000.00 - $152100.00/yr.
• This is a fully remote position.
• This position is anticipated to close on Jul 24, 2026.
