Role Description
Kallent is recruiting experienced Investment Banking Experts for flexible, remote AI research projects with one of our current clients. This opportunity is designed for finance professionals who understand real investment banking workflows and can apply strong judgment to help evaluate and improve advanced AI systems. In this role, you may review AI-generated financial analysis, valuation logic, transaction scenarios, deal language, and other finance-related outputs. The program runs year-round, with project opportunities opening periodically based on client needs. Placement into a project is not guaranteed and will depend on availability, qualifications, and project fit.
This is a remote, asynchronous opportunity for U.S.-based candidates who want flexible, part-time project work while contributing to the development of AI systems used for professional finance tasks.
Tasks

Review AI-generated financial analyses for accuracy, logic, and professional quality.

Evaluate valuation outputs, financial modeling assumptions, and transaction-related reasoning.

Assess whether AI responses reflect real-world investment banking standards.

Identify errors, weak assumptions, missing context, or misleading conclusions.

Review deal scenarios involving M&A, capital markets, private equity, or strategic finance.

Provide clear written feedback using project-specific rubrics and instructions.

Apply your experience in financial modeling, valuation, and deal execution to help improve AI system performance.

Work independently in a remote, asynchronous environment.
Qualifications

Bachelorβs degree required.
-
Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Investment Banking Analyst, Investment Banking Associate, Private Equity Analyst, Private Equity Associate, or closely related transaction-focused finance role.

Experience with AI model training and workflows.

Strong knowledge of financial modeling, valuation, and investment banking workflows.

Ability to evaluate financial analysis, transaction logic, and deal-related language with accuracy.

Strong writing and communication skills.

High attention to detail.

Ability to follow detailed instructions and project guidelines.

Comfortable working independently in an asynchronous environment.

Must be based in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Experience with M&A, IPOs, debt financing, equity financing, leveraged buyouts, or strategic advisory.

Familiarity with DCF analysis, comparable company analysis, precedent transactions, accretion/dilution analysis, and LBO modeling.

Experience preparing or reviewing pitch books, CIMs, investment memos, or transaction materials.

Experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, transaction advisory, or valuation advisory.

Comfort using Excel, PowerPoint, Capital IQ, FactSet, Bloomberg, PitchBook, or similar finance tools.

Prior experience reviewing analyst work, training junior team members, or evaluating financial outputs.
Strongly Preferred

Active or previously held securities licenses or finance credentials in good standing are strongly preferred.

Examples may include Series 7, Series 63, Series 79, Series 82, Series 86/87, CFA, CPA, or similar credentials.

Our Process

Step 1: Application Review - Kallent reviews submitted applications to confirm basic eligibility, education level, availability, and interest.

Step 2: Prescreen Interview - Qualified Candidates complete a virtual prescreen interview with no video required. During this step, Kallent informs eligible candidates about the job program, project expectations, requirements, and next steps.

Step 3: Assessment - Candidates may be asked to complete a single assessment before beginning project work.

Step 4: Client Onboarding - Candidates who pass the assessment will receive next steps with the client, which may include: invite link to signup and create your account, verify identity, join and onboard into relevant AI projects, start working and earning.
