Role Description

AppLovin is seeking an International Tax Manager to support our growing global tax function. The tax team is a highly collaborative, high-impact group. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on ownership and enjoys partnering across finance and accounting teams. You'll play a visible, hands-on role in global tax provision and compliance matters, tax planning and strategy and supporting the use of technology to improve efficiency and accuracy. This is a full-time role that can be held remotely within the U.S.

Key Responsibilities:

• For tax provision and compliance, prepare U.S. international tax workpapers including but not limited to GILTI, FDII, FTC, and BEAT.
• Work on foreign tax provision and Pillar 2 workpapers, and help coordinate Pillar 2 compliance with our external providers.
• Help manage the global tax compliance process, including review of foreign statutory financials and foreign income tax returns alongside our external providers.
• Support international tax planning projects, including building tax models for cross-border transactions, entity structuring, and new business initiatives.
• Collaborate across tax, accounting, finance, and other business stakeholders to gather and analyze information required to ensure accuracy.
• Monitor U.S. and foreign tax legislative developments and communicate potential impacts and recommendations.
• Use tax technology and data tools to automate and streamline tax processes.
• Support ad hoc projects and special assignments as needed, including tax audit notices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MST preferred.
• 6+ years of corporate tax experience with significant focus on U.S. international tax compliance and provision or federal tax matters with international exposure.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and Google Workspace.
• Experience working with NetSuite or other ERP systems.
• Interest in working in a fast-paced, high-growth technology or multinational environment.
