Role Description
The Head of Multifamily Agency Closing will serve as a senior transaction execution leader and legal-documentation resource across the platform. This position offers the opportunity to manage complex Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac multifamily loan closings from commitment through delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage agency multifamily loan closings from application through funding and post-closing follow-up.

Coordinate closely with internal and external parties including counsel, borrowers, title companies, and agencies.

Review, negotiate, and manage closing documentation.

Identify, escalate, and resolve legal and documentation issues.

Ensure transactions comply with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac requirements.

Maintain comprehensive closing checklists and documentation logs.

Partner with underwriting and originations to confirm deal terms are accurately reflected in closing documents.

Review third-party work product for completeness and alignment with agency requirements.

Drive closing calls and manage issue lists.

Support loan delivery and audit-ready file completion.

Serve as a senior resource to junior closers and transaction team members.

Contribute to the development of scalable closing workflows and best practices.

Take on additional execution and leadership responsibilities as the platform evolves.
Qualifications

Minimum of 15 years of legal and loan closing experience required.

Prior experience closing Fannie Mae DUS and/or Freddie Mac Optigo multifamily loans strongly preferred.

Deep knowledge of commercial real estate loan documentation and closing mechanics.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex transactions simultaneously.

Strong understanding of agency closing requirements and audit-ready file standards.

Experience working directly with various stakeholders including borrowers and internal teams.

Bachelorβs degree required; J.D. or equivalent legal-documentation experience preferred.

This role can be located anywhere in the U.S.
Pay Range
$150,000 - $250,000 depending upon relatable skills and experience.
