[Hiring] FP&A Manager @RTX

Role Description

Our Pratt & Whitney Commercial V2500 Aftermarket ESF Finance team has an exciting remote opportunity for an FP&A Manager.

The Manager will oversee and engage in a wide range of contract management, including:

• Contract estimate at completion (EAC) and variance analysis
• Supporting cash collections process
• Customer proposals and analysis
• Controls and compliance

The Manager will report directly to the Senior Manager of V2500 Aftermarket Finance and will provide critical financial support to the Finance leadership and CFT team. This individual will work closely with the fleet manager for each of their respective contracts and work effectively within a cross-functional team from Engineering, Customer Management, Sales, and Operations Analytics.

Specific job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Calculate and analyze contract estimates at completion (EACs) for multiple fleet management contracts in the V2500 engine portfolios.
• Prepare and present all financial analysis related to the contract EACs to P&W CFT and external auditors.
• Prepare and present all financial analysis related to specific customer proposals and contract restructuring activities.
• Support monthly and annual MML/closing activities including the actual financial results for multiple fleet management contracts.
• Coordinate quarterly Remaining Performance Obligation (RPO)/Backlog process.
• Support the annual rate recalculation for multiple fleet management contracts and provide necessary support for our invoicing vendor.
• Provide overall financial oversight for multiple fleet management contracts as well as ongoing support for the contract's fleet manager.
• Leverage CORE tools for continuous process improvement plans.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting and 8+ years of applicable work experience; OR Advanced Degree and 5+ years of applicable work experience.
• 2+ years of experience in a Commercial Aftermarket or Financial Planning and Analysis organization or long-term contract accounting.
• Strong financial and analytical skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively through all levels of the organization, and have a familiarity with multiple financial systems such as SAP.
• Candidate must be a self-motivated team player and possess the ability to work effectively and efficiently with little direction while handling multiple high-priority projects at any given time.
• U.S. Citizenship required; this position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess U.S. citizenship.
