[Hiring] FP&A Financial Analyst @Marsh McLennan

Role Description

As a FP&A Financial Analyst on the Corporate FP&A team, you'll assist in the development of monthly forecasts and yearly budgets. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing financial planning information and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
• Updating financial databases through entering, verifying, and securing data.
• Assisting in the month-end close process by preparing recurring, standard, and ad-hoc business performance reporting.
• Preparing and delivering consolidated reports, presentations, and communication to management to elicit critical decision support.
• Analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting and planning outlooks, highlighting material variances, risks and opportunities, and range of outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business or Economics.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in financial planning and analysis.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills to effectively interact with colleagues at all levels.
• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a results-driven mindset.
• Collaborative mindset to enable effective partnership with Field FP&A Team and business.

Requirements

• Strong PowerPoint skills to synthesize and convey key findings (a plus, but not required).
• Previous experience using Oracle Hyperion, Power BI, Smartsheet (a plus, but not required).
• Exhibit an analytical and creative lens, with a strong desire to innovate and improve (a plus, but not required).
