[Hiring] FM Audit Remediation Support - Senior Consultant @Guidehouse

Role Description

Guidehouse is currently seeking financial management professionals in support of our Department of Defense client. These teammates will bring a vast range of experiences across financial management, accounting, audit, internal controls, and financial policy.

Our Guidehouse team will provide:

• Financial audit statements and audit readiness services
• Support to the DoW financial statement audit remediation and sustainment strategy and execution, oversight and reporting, and audit infrastructure. Specifically:
• Enterprise Audit
• Remediation/Sustainment Strategy, Oversight and Reporting support, including:
• Audit Remediation/Sustainment Strategy
• Governance Meeting Support – Content Development
• Governance Communication – Content Development
• Recurring FIAR Reporting
• Audit Remediation, including:
• DoW-wide Remediation Support
• Audit Remediation and Sustainment Working Group Meeting Support
• Remediation Expertise Support

Qualifications

• Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "SECRET" security clearance; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of clearance prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE "SECRET" or higher-level clearance are preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree
• FIVE (5) + years supporting government financial management, including financial statement audits, audit readiness, remediation, and ICOFR
• Knowledge of GAAP, GAGAS, ICOFR, and DoD financial management policies, procedures, and organizational structures
• Familiarity with at least one of the following: General Equipment, Inventory, Real Property, IGT (AP/AR), or OM&S

Requirements

• Bachelors and/or Advanced Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or Business Management/Administration
• CPA, CIA, CISA, PMP, CGFM, or CDFM preferred
