[Hiring] Fixed Asset Analyst @Lumos

Role Description

Lumos Fiber is seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Fixed Asset Analyst to support the financial management of capital projects and fixed assets across our growing organization. This role is responsible for supporting fixed asset and construction accounting processes from project setup through asset capitalization while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys partnering cross-functionally to improve processes, solve problems, and support strategic financial reporting and decision-making. Experience with construction or project accounting and familiarity with the NetSuite Fixed Asset module are strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• CPA preferred
• 4+ years of fixed asset, project accounting, or related accounting experience
• Telecom industry experience preferred

Requirements

• Strong understanding of fixed asset accounting, capitalization policies, GAAP, and month-end close processes
• Ability to manage responsibilities independently while collaborating across departments
• Experience analyzing large datasets and identifying trends, discrepancies, and process improvement opportunities
• Strong systems aptitude with the ability to investigate issues, improve workflows, and support system enhancements
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both accounting and non-accounting personnel
• Advanced Excel skills required
• Experience with NetSuite, including the Fixed Asset module, strongly preferred
• Ability to adapt to changing business needs and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented with strong ownership and accountability mindset
