[Hiring] Financial Systems Manager @Gallagher

Role Description

This position is responsible for managing agency and financial systems including Epic, Concur, JDE, etc. and related reporting tools. Key responsibilities include:

• Managing all testing, integration, conversion, support and reporting of financial systems.
• Serving as key liaison to Applied Systems and other vendors for all finance and accounting aspects including product design, reporting and production support.
• Managing all system processes including production support for accounting issues and follow-up/tracking with Applied Systems.
• Gathering/documenting reporting requirements based upon agency management system data and related systems.
• Proactively leading and coordinating tasks for conversions with the merger and acquisition integration team.
• Managing staff, providing direction, setting goals, and ensuring that overall department goals are attained.

Qualifications

• Required: Bachelor's degree (Accounting/Finance).
• Minimum of 8 years general accounting experience and/or minimum 6 years of insurance brokerage accounting experience required.
• Strong accounting process knowledge and understanding of G.A.A.P.
• Excellent Microsoft Excel Skills including advanced formula usage.
• Preferred: Minimum 6 years supervisory experience preferred.
• Exceptionally strong analytical and problem solving skills.
