Role Description

As a Financial Services Representative, you will:

• Specialize in investments, sell and deliver all investment products and services.
• Contribute towards the growth of the investment portfolio by attaining individual goals and objectives on an annual basis.
• Assist with the development of business opportunities to establish a profitable investment portfolio with the corporate objectives of the credit union.
• Anticipate and determine the needs of members. Transact requests or refer the member to the suitable service area.
• Provide needs-based advice, counselling members on financial matters such as family budgeting, credit management, and investment/retirement planning.
• Identify opportunities to generate sales and new members.
• Monitor the renewal of maturing investments. Ensure members receive appropriate notice, advising of alternative options and assist with renewals.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with members by providing excellent member service.
• Perform other duties as needed or assigned.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education with emphasis in business or financial planning would be an asset.
• A minimum of two years of sales, service, and investment administration and/or sales experience.
• Advanced member service and sales skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Mutual Funds License, active and in good standing.
• Willingness to complete additional educational components as required.

Benefits

• $900.47 - $1,448.91 per week (plus pension and applicable benefits).
