Role Description

The Financial Reporting Professional prepares and distributes periodic financial statements for individuals outside the organization. Group Medicare assignments are generally straightforward and moderately complex.

• Ensures that all reports and disclosures comply with applicable government regulations, professional standards, and organizational policies.
• Prepares consolidation journal entries, eliminates intercompany transactions, and consolidates divisional and subsidiary financial accounts accurately and on time for inclusion in internal and external financial statements.
• Understands the concepts, standards, regulations, strategies, and operating practices relevant to their work area.
• Sets work approaches and priorities while following direction.
• Performs work guided by precedent, documented procedures, regulations, and professional standards, applying interpretation as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to analyze large data sets using SQL.
• Proficiency in Excel and other data analysis and reporting tools.
• One or more years of technical experience.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

Requirements

• Data transformation experience.
• Experience working with Databricks.
• Power BI Reporting.
• Medicare experience.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Work at Home Requirements:
  • Minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps required.
  • Wireless, wired cable, or DSL connection suggested.
  • Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.
• Travel: Occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$59,300 - $80,900 per year
