Role Description
At Pavago, one of our clients is hiring a Financial Operations & Accounting Specialist to manage financial records, reconciliations, reporting, and transaction tracking across multiple entities. This is a hands-on role that goes beyond basic bookkeeping. You’ll be responsible for maintaining accurate financial data, identifying discrepancies, managing multi-entity workflows, and improving financial tracking processes.

What You’ll Own

Accounting & Reconciliations

Maintain and reconcile financial records across multiple entities

Ensure transactions are accurately recorded and categorized
-
Review financial data and proactively resolve discrepancies

Maintain clean and reliable accounting records

Financial Reporting & Data
-
Prepare monthly financial reports and summaries
-
Build and maintain financial trackers in Google Sheets
-
Ensure consistency between accounting systems, reports, and supporting records
-
Provide leadership with accurate and organized financial information
-
Expense & Transaction Tracking
-
Track property-level expenses, CapEx, interest, and other financial activity
-
Maintain organized supporting documentation
-
Verify proper categorization of transactions
-
Monitor financial activity for errors or inconsistencies
-
Bank & Vendor Coordination
-
Conduct follow-ups with banks and vendors when verification is required
-
Reconcile external records against internal financial data
-
Support resolution of transaction and payment discrepancies
-
Process Improvement
-
Identify inefficient financial workflows
-
Improve trackers, documentation, and reporting processes
-
Build structured systems that improve accuracy and consistency
-
Help reduce recurring errors and manual work
Qualifications
-
Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial operations
-
Hands-on experience with QuickBooks
-
Strong Google Sheets skills, including formulas and complex financial trackers
-
Experience performing financial reconciliations
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
-
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies
-
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
-
Clear and professional English communication
-
Availability during U.S. business hours
Nice to Have

Multi-entity QuickBooks experience
-
Experience with property-based or multi-entity businesses

Familiarity with CapEx and property-level expense tracking

Experience preparing monthly financial reports

Familiarity with Google Drive and Slack

Process improvement or financial systems optimization experience
