Role Description

US Job Finders is seeking a highly organized, detail-driven Financial Controller to own the finance function of a fast-growing U.S.-based remote staffing company. In this role you will run the day-to-day finance operation:

• Process contractor payments accurately and on time.
• Keep payment information current for every contractor.
• Manage weekly and monthly bookkeeping and reconciliations.
• Close the books.
• Turn numbers into management reporting and key performance metrics.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting or controller experience.
• 5+ years of advanced, hands-on QuickBooks Online experience.
• Strong written and spoken English.

Requirements

• Process a high volume of contractor payments accurately and on schedule.
• Verify payment amounts against approved hours, timesheets, monthly rates, bonuses, and adjustments.
• Process international payments through payment platforms and bank transfers.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date payment information for every contractor.
• Manage weekly and monthly bookkeeping in QuickBooks Online.
• Prepare and send monthly client invoices accurately and on time.
• Deliver monthly financial statements: profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow.
• Act as the founders' financial partner, providing analysis and recommendations.
• Set up and maintain internal controls for payments, approvals, and banking changes.
