[Hiring] Financial Aid Specialist @Higher Education Assistance Group

Role Description

The Higher Education Assistance Group, Inc. (HEAG) has an immediate need for Financial Aid consultants for a fully remote, full-time, 3-4-month engagement. We are seeking reliable, compliance driven candidates with a minimum of 3-5 years' practical, hands-on experience in the following targeted Title IV processing areas:

• Packaging and repackaging aid for non-term or modular term programs required
• Title IV Disbursement rules
• Customer service and rapid response to escalated scenarios

Candidates with demonstrated experience in Anthology will be prioritized.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

• A deep understanding of Title IV regulations and workflow
• Demonstrated competency with various technology tools including financial aid management systems
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks in a virtual environment
• Clear written and verbal communication
• The ability to troubleshoot issues independently and escalate appropriately
• Excellent attention to detail
• Adaptability to virtual and asynchronous training

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' practical, hands-on experience in Title IV processing
• Experience with Anthology preferred
