Role Description

The Financial Access Representative acts as a role model in stewardship and support of the Scheduling Center. Responsibilities include:

• Accurate MR selection, preregistration, and securing pre-authorizations prior to a patient arrival or after arrival at the facility.
• Maintaining a thorough knowledge of insurance requirements to ensure procedures/visits are authorized from payers.
• Acting as department support in training, assisting peers, or other assigned responsibilities to supervisor/manager.

After successful completion of in-person training, this position offers remote work.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
• 3-5 years experience in a health care registration setting required.
• Customer service experience preferred; work with insurance payers is required.

Requirements

• Minimum pay: USD $21.15/Hr.
• Maximum pay: USD $34.90/Hr.
