[Hiring] Finance Team Member @Hasana Inc.

Role Description

Hasana is seeking a Finance Team Member to help keep our financial operations organized, accurate, and transparent as we settle into our new status as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. This role supports day-to-day bookkeeping, disbursements, cash flow, and internal controls, and plays a key part in building the documentation habits that let us be fully accountable for where every dollar goes. A minimum of 2–3 hours per week is required for this role.

• Maintain up-to-date records of income, expenses, and fund balances in Excel/Google Sheets and Zeffy
• Support disbursement processing and track cash flow
• Assist with budgeting and reconcile accounts regularly
• Build and maintain clear financial documentation and internal-control practices
• Coordinate across teams to gather and verify transaction details
• Flag discrepancies or questions for review before they become issues

Qualifications

• Working understanding of basic financials and comfort learning new material quickly
• Experience with spreadsheets (Excel / Google Sheets) and familiarity with donation platforms such as Zeffy
• Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills
• Comfortable taking on fiduciary responsibility for financial tasks
• Excellent written communication and reliability
• Prior nonprofit experience (a plus!)
• Bilingual (a plus, not required)
• Commitment and dedication to showing up consistently for the role
