[Hiring] Finance Lead @PostHog

Role Description

We are looking for a Finance Lead to help us build on our existing solid foundation of systems, processes, and controls. You will report directly to our co-CEO, Tim, and own decisions related to:

• Budgets
• Forecasts
• Compliance
• Audits

Your role will be to enable every team at PostHog to think about the financial success of the business and to communicate this effectively to new team members, the board, and future investors.

Key responsibilities include:

• Owning FP&A and making significant finance-related decisions
• Reporting financial metrics to the board and investors
• Ensuring the accuracy of accounts, including revenue recognition across all products
• Handling payroll, indirect taxes, and finance compliance issues
• Partnering with GTM teams to deliver the best customer experience

Qualifications

• 10+ years of finance experience in a SaaS company (preferably a dev tool) that scaled well beyond $100m ARR
• Experience as the #1 or #2 in terms of responsibility for finance
