Role Description
Exodus is looking for a Equity Administration Analyst to own and scale the administration, governance, and operational integrity of the company’s equity and compensation programs. This role serves as a key partner across Finance, Legal, and HR, acting as the single source of truth for equity data while also supporting compensation programs and best practices as the company grows. This is a highly hands-on role for someone who enjoys building structure, improving processes, and bringing clarity to complex, evolving areas.
-
Own end-to-end equity administration, including equity grants, vesting schedules, exercises, cancellations, terminations, and record keeping, ensuring alignment with board approvals, equity plans, and legal documentation.
-
Maintain the official cap table and equity administration systems, ensuring data accuracy, strong governance, and appropriate access controls.
-
Partner closely with Legal and Finance to support financial reporting, audits, and corporate transactions by preparing clean, well-documented, and board-ready equity data.
-
Support proxy statement preparation and related disclosures by compiling, validating, and reconciling equity and executive compensation data, including share usage and plan summaries.
-
Serve as a compensation partner to HR and Finance by supporting compensation planning cycles, job leveling, market benchmarking, and compensation analysis as needed.
-
Collaborate with HR and Payroll to ensure accurate equity and compensation-related payroll processing, tax withholding, and employee communications.
-
Develop and document scalable equity and compensation processes, workflows, and controls to reduce manual effort, improve turnaround time, and mitigate risk.
-
Act as a subject matter expert for employee equity and compensation questions, improving transparency, understanding, and trust in total rewards programs.
-
Continuously bring best practices from prior roles to improve equity governance, compensation administration, and cross-functional coordination.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field.
-
5 plus years of experience in equity administration, compensation, or total rewards, preferably in a public company or complex environment.
-
Strong working knowledge of equity plans, cap tables, vesting mechanics, and equity administration platforms.
-
Solid compensation foundation, including experience with compensation analysis, benchmarking, and annual planning cycles.
-
Highly detail-oriented with a control-focused mindset and strong data integrity standards.
-
Comfortable operating independently, building processes from scratch, and taking ownership of ambiguous or evolving responsibilities.
-
Strong communicator who partners effectively across Finance, Legal, and HR.
Requirements
-
Experience supporting proxy reporting, audits, or SEC-related equity and compensation disclosures.
-
Certified Compensation Professional or similar certification.
-
Experience supporting global or multi-jurisdiction equity or compensation programs.
-
Experience in high-growth or scaling organizations.
