[Hiring] Director of Finance @Belite Bio

Role Description

Belite Bio is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Director of Finance to support the Finance team in planning, implementing and managing financial related activities, including business planning, budgeting, and forecasting, respectively. This role will serve as finance business partner supporting cross-functional teams within Belite to help drive the financial and operational strategy of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting process which involves collaboration with department heads to align financial plans with organization objectives.
• Monitor financial performance by measuring and analyzing monthly financial results, initiating corrective actions, and minimizing the impact of variances to budget.
• Function as the primary business partner for certain business groups as it relates to financial & accounting matters and other financial statement inquiries, as well as recommend enhancements to the financial planning & analysis processes within the organization.
• Conduct ongoing forecasting to anticipate financial trends and challenges and work with business groups to mitigate actual to budget variances.
• Support corporate accounting team in the month-end close process, as well as, financial reporting relating to public filings with SEC.
• Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and applicable federal, state and local regulatory laws and rules for financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of accounting/finance experience, with prior supervisory experience recommended.
• Strong analytical, strategic planning, and leadership skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive execution.
• Proficiency with financial software and ERP systems, particularly as it relates to NetSuite and SAP, respectively.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to explain financial concepts and information to non-financial staff, stakeholders, and external partners.
• Experience in biopharma industry preferred.
• MBA or CPA preferred.

Salary Disclosure

Pay Range: $185,000 to $208,000 USD (Salary offered will depend on candidate location, market rate adjustments, skills, and relevant experience).

Belite Bio provides a competitive total compensation package that includes base salary, annual incentive bonuses, equity participation, and a full benefit package (health, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off).
