Role Description

Based on review of seller’s financial statements and book of business data, build pro forma models and summarize book of business insights.

Assist with the development of pricing models that aid in maximizing company value.

Present pro forma work, pricing models, and recommendations to the Senior Leadership team.

Collaborate with Legal and other key M&A leadership to ensure agreed upon financial terms are properly captured in letters of intent and definitive agreements.

Lead the financial due diligence efforts, which may include the management of external firms or resources and working directly with the seller or the seller’s representatives.

Collaborate across the various M&A workstreams, to ensure a smooth pre- and post-closing process.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree is required; Finance and/or related field.

7+ years of progressive insurance industry experience in M&A or business development activity.

Proven experience in financial modeling and industry relevant pricing models.

Strong understanding of the components and requirements of finance due diligence.

Experience presenting findings and recommendations to senior management.

Physical Demands

Work is performed in a temperature-controlled office environment or travel via vehicle.

Occasionally required to use hands to handle, touch and use tools, reach with hands and arms, bend, stoop, twist, lift, reach, push, pull, grasp, balance, talk, hear, and ambulate during employment.

Specific vision ability required includes close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Employee may be required to travel for business purposes.
Work Environment

Exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time, which may include warm, hot, or cold temperatures.

The noise level in the work environment should be moderate most of the time.
Work Schedule

Employee will be required to work the agreed hours presented in the offer letter.

Schedule may vary based on business demands and may require a combination of office hours as well as work performed after hours and/or weekends.
Salary Range
The expected pay range for this position is $120,000.00 to $190,000.00 per year, depending on experience, relevant skills, and geographic location.
