Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Identify and coordinate EB commission payments from carriers (checks, EFTs or ACHs)

Follow up with carriers, branch offices for commission statements or retrieve from online portals
-
Maintain portal logins as well as signing up for new logins as needed
-
Batch and forward carrier payments and commission statements to outsourcing partner for posting

Coordinate commission posting with other EPIC offices
-
Research and resolve EB exceptions from outsourcing partner
-
Research and respond to any EB inquiries from branch offices
-
Update and maintain EB commission revenue logs
-
Post month end cut-off commissions in-house as needed
-
Process commission refunds to carriers
-
Allocate and post contingent commissions
-
Assist as back up for other A/R team members as needed

Other duties and projects assigned
Key Competencies
-
Must have beginner to intermediate excel skills.

Must have a strong knowledge of a variety of Microsoft Office computer software applications in word processing, excel spreadsheets, PDF and email communication.

Able to research insurance carrier websites for pertinent information.

Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks, demands and adaptable to change.

Must have high level of interpersonal skills. Strong Communication skills.

Position continually requires teamwork, demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s in business administration preferred

Insurance accounting experience preferred
Compensation
The national average hourly salary for this role is $30.80 - $35.90 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. The base pay offered will be determined based on your experience, skills, training, certifications and education, while also considering internal equity and market data.
