Role Description

The function of this job is primarily to credit vet new and existing customers according to the companies Credit Vetting policy. The role also requires the incumbent to address debit order mandate as well as customer banking detail related queries and tickets.

• Credit vet new and existing customers
• Identify and manage fraudulent applications
• Follow the companies credit vetting policy
• Apply credit risk management policies and principles
• Attend to debit order mandate queries and tickets & assignment agreements and tickets
• Address customer banking details related queries and tickets
• Vetting new and existing client applications
• Ensure the highest levels of internal and external customer satisfaction is achieved
• Attend to missing contract document ticket centre and tickets

Qualifications

• 5 Years credit vetting experience working with both consumer and business type customers
• Customer service experience is advantageous
• Credit Management principles
• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
• Good telephone etiquette (assertive, yet diplomatic)
• Strong negotiation skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Notice patterns and trends
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Self-motivated & deadline driven
• Maintain a high level of accuracy when reviewing information
• Adhere to policies and procedures
• Work under pressure & cope with setbacks
• Meet internal & external customer expectations

Requirements

• Grade 12 Qualification – Essential
• Computer literate – Essential
• Tertiary education in Credit Management or similar – Desirable
• Stable home internet connectivity
