Role Description

Managing collections for up to 300 customer accounts monthly, including outbound calls and documentation of interactions.

Investigating and resolving invoice discrepancies, short payments, and tax issues to ensure accurate account reconciliation.

Reviewing customer contracts and coordinating with billing teams to maintain up-to-date and accurate customer information.

Evaluating creditworthiness and recommending credit limits and risk mitigation strategies.

Participating in internal meetings and customer calls to resolve account issues and strengthen relationships.
Qualifications

Bachelorβs Degree or higher AND (2) two years experience in customer service in a private, public, government or military environment

OR High School Diploma/GED AND (6) six years experience in customer service in a private, public, government or military environment
-
Experience in B2B collections.

Knowledge of account reconciliations.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with finance, sales, and customer service teams.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Strong customer service and relationship-management skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders at multiple levels.

Ability to conduct difficult conversations and negotiations while balancing customer relationships with company credit policies.

Strong analytical, research, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, including pivot tables, reporting, templates and data merging.

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Ability to work effectively in multiple computer systems simultaneously.

Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals and process improvements.

The expected compensation range for this position is $64,800 - $89,100, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible.
