Role Description
We are looking for an experienced Credit Officer to play a key role in managing residential and commercial mortgage applications from submission through to formal approval. In this role, you'll:

Assess credit risk and make informed lending recommendations.

Ensure compliance with Australian lending regulations.

Provide exceptional support to brokers, clients, and internal stakeholders throughout the lending process.
The successful candidate is an experienced lending professional with strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to confidently manage a high-volume pipeline while meeting service level expectations.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of regulated mortgage underwriting experience across Australian residential and commercial mortgages.

Strong understanding of financial analysis, credit risk assessment, lending principles, and Australian mortgage underwriting processes.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to compliance and documentation.

Proven ability to independently manage multiple loan applications.
