Role Description
GFiber is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Corporate Development Associate to join our team. In this role, this role will be a key architect of GFiber’s future, balancing immediate transaction execution with the long-term vision of our network expansion. This role will be responsible for evaluating M&A opportunities, supporting capital markets activities, and driving the firm’s long-range financial planning.
As a key member of the team, this role will support capital markets activity and M&A analysis and execution. This role will conduct rigorous financial modeling, perform deep-dive industry research into the telecommunications sector, and help manage GFiber’s relationships with external financing partners.

Long-Term Strategic Planning:
Own the development and annual refresh of GFiber’s 10-year integrated financial model. Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to translate long-term strategic goals into detailed multi-year projections.

M&A & Valuation:
Build and maintain sophisticated financial models to evaluate potential acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures.

Capital Markets & Financing:
Assist in evaluating funding strategies and executing financing activities, including debt issuances and credit facility management to fund long-term infrastructure builds.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.

4 years of corporate development experience (M&A or Capital Markets) OR 2 years of experience in Investment Banking, with a focus on TMT (Technology, Media, and Telecommunications) or Infrastructure.

Experience working with Excel with a proven track record of building complex, multi-year integrated financial models.

Direct exposure to capital markets transactions (Debt or Equity) and an understanding of capital structure optimization.
Requirements

Understanding of fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) economics, including CAPEX-intensive deployment models and long-term infrastructure returns.

Experience at a company supporting capital markets, M&A or strategic planning activities.

Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams—such as a live deal and a refinancing—simultaneously.

Ability to evaluate how specific transactions or financing decisions impact the company's overall balance sheet and long-term growth trajectory.

Exceptional ability to distill complex capital markets data into actionable insights for non-finance executives.
Benefits

The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $105,600 - $154,900 + bonus + cash award + benefits.
