[Hiring] Corporate Accountant @TalentBridge

Role Description

TalentBridge is partnering with an established, growing organization seeking a strong Senior Accountant to join its corporate accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented accounting professional who has a solid understanding of accounting principles, enjoys working in the general ledger, and takes ownership of their work.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in corporate accounting, including:

• Journal entries
• Account reconciliations
• Month-end close
• Financial reporting

We are looking for someone who understands the why behind accounting transactions, can confidently navigate debits and credits, and has the analytical ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.

While industry-specific accounting experience is a plus, it is not required. The organization is willing to provide training to someone who brings strong fundamental accounting skills, intellectual curiosity, and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with a strong accounting foundation.
• 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a corporate accounting environment.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, general ledger accounting, and fundamental accounting principles.
• Ability to confidently explain and apply debits, credits, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Hands-on experience with month-end close and account analysis.
• Strong Excel skills and experience working with accounting or ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and take ownership of assigned responsibilities.
• Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn new processes and industry-specific accounting practices.

Requirements

• Experience in a multi-entity or complex corporate accounting environment.
• CPA or CPA-track candidates are welcome but certification is not required.
• Experience supporting process improvements or accounting system enhancements.
• Exposure to project accounting, cost accounting, or work-in-progress accounting is a plus, but not required.
