Role Description
Tamarack is seeking a full-time 12-month contract position of Coordinator, Accounting & Financial Innovation. Although Tamarackβs HQ and governing policies are based in Ontario, we offer remote work for employees residing anywhere in Canada.
The Coordinator, Accounting & Financial Innovation is responsible for delivering accurate, efficient, and compliant financial operations while leading continuous improvement across Tamarack's financial systems and processes. Beyond day-to-day accounting, this role identifies opportunities to:

Qualifications

Two years' experience or equivalent
-
College diploma or equivalent experience

Proficiency in Xero an asset but not mandatory

Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Excel is essential

Demonstrated organization skills, including ability to manage concurrent priorities

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Discreet and able to work with confidential and sensitive information

Adaptable and flexible as the role evolves with the organization

Positive, enthusiastic, and self-driven

Ability to engage virtually, both independently and in cooperation with a small, remote team

A starting salary range is rated between $60,000 and $62,000 a year, commensurate with proven skills and experience
