[Hiring] Commissions Analyst I @Centene Corporation

Role Description

The Commissions Analyst I is responsible for processing all commission-related payments, accounting entries, and reports for the broker network. Key responsibilities include:

• Performing data reconciliation and researching commission-related payments.
• Providing assistance to team members on new accounts, difficult issues, and processes and procedures.
• Preparing scheduled and month-end reports, and providing analytical support by identifying issues with commission payments.
• Reviewing reports, processing check requests, and performing commission processing and analysis.
• Reviewing month-end reports and performing reconciliations and report balancing.
• Analyzing and interpreting the financial impact of changes made to Broker accounts.
• Completing data reconciliation and working with Accounts Payable to complete accounting entries.
• Providing assistance and direction to team members on market segments of expertise (i.e., Farm Bureau, Small Business, and Large Business, per member per month Payments).
• Cross-training with other Team Leaders to cover areas during vacation and peak periods.
• Interacting with brokers and the sales force to provide customer support on commissions/related inquiries.
• Developing and implementing training modules for new hires or cross-training efforts.
• Setting up training presentations and meetings, and interacting with sales, underwriting, and enrollment services.
• Serving as a subject matter expert for new and junior associates.
• Representing the department in projects for system enhancements or implementations.
• Assisting in the completion of special projects or other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum four years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, or Commissions Payable.
• Familiarity or experience working with the following departments:
  • Sales
  • Marketing
  • Underwriting
  • Membership/Accounting
  • Broker Relations

Requirements
