[Hiring] Commercial Underwriting - Commercial Loan Analyst @Nuvision Federal Credit Union

Role Description

The Commercial Loan Analyst will conduct credit evaluations and analyze complex and diverse credit information for companies and industries. The position performs a variety of tasks that include:

• Analyzing loan requests, including borrower information, financial statements, collateral, and tax returns for new and existing loans.
• Assisting underwriter in preparation of credit memorandum and credit review.
• Performing site visits and member interviews for new loans and annual reviews.
• Cultivating and retaining business member accounts through effective customer service.
• Assisting in training of additional staff.
• Treating all co-workers and members with respect.
• Supporting, participating, and volunteering in credit union member community activities, member relations, and events that promote member-centric experiences.
• Representing the Credit Union in a positive and professional manner.
• Other related duties as assigned, including but not limited to conducting forecast analysis, preparing credit memorandums for review, and providing support to the loan officers.
• Maintaining member and other sensitive information with confidentiality.

Qualifications

• 3 years of commercial loan analysis experience with a financial institution.
• Experience with commercial lending analysis software.
• Working knowledge and proficiency with commercial lending analysis software.
• Good understanding of NCUA regulations in Business Services.
• Proficient with PC and Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Good organization and member service skills required.
• Strong analytical skills and decisive decision-making skills.
• Maintain confidentiality in all credit union matters.

Education

• Two-year college degree or equivalent related specialized course of study or program or work equivalent.

Pay Scale

• Alaska: Min $30.11 - Mid $37.64 - Max $45.17
• Arizona: Min $26.55 - Mid $33.18 - Max $39.82
• Nevada: Min $27.16 - Mid $33.95 - Max $40.74
• Washington: Min $30.85 - Mid $38.56 - Max $46.27
