[Hiring] Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Crypto & Blockchain @Caiz

Role Description

We are looking for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with deep expertise in crypto, blockchain, and decentralized finance (DeFi) to lead our financial strategy. The CFO will be responsible for overseeing financial planning, investment management, regulatory compliance, and risk assessment in the fast-evolving crypto landscape. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in crypto asset management, tokenomics, and blockchain-based financial models.

Responsibilities:

• Financial Strategy & Planning:
  • Develop and implement a financial strategy aligned with the company’s growth in blockchain and crypto markets.
  • Manage financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and treasury management for digital assets and fiat holdings.
  • Oversee tokenomics strategy, ensuring a sustainable and scalable financial model for the company's crypto ecosystem.
  • Analyze market trends and provide insights on investment opportunities in DeFi, NFTs, and Web3 projects.
• Crypto Asset Management & Treasury:
  • Supervise the management of crypto reserves, liquidity pools, and staking mechanisms.
  • Implement risk mitigation strategies for crypto holdings, including hedging, stablecoins, and diversification.
  • Optimize yield generation through staking, yield farming, and decentralized finance protocols.
  • Ensure proper management of on-chain and off-chain assets with multi-signature security measures.
• Regulatory Compliance & Governance:
  • Ensure compliance with global crypto regulations (FATF, SEC, MiCA, AML/KYC policies).
  • Work with legal teams to develop frameworks for Shariah-compliant finance (if applicable).
  • Stay up to date with tax implications and regulatory changes in crypto and DeFi sectors.
• Risk Management & Security:
  • Develop and oversee risk management frameworks for digital assets, including market volatility, liquidity risk, and cybersecurity threats.
  • Collaborate with the Chief Information Officer (CIO) to ensure secure transactions, fraud prevention, and data protection.
  • Implement internal controls to safeguard financial integrity and prevent crypto-related fraud.
• Stakeholder & Investor Relations:
  • Manage relationships with crypto investors, venture capital firms, exchanges, and institutional partners.
  • Lead fundraising efforts, including token sales, private equity, and venture capital investments.
  • Provide transparent financial reporting to stakeholders, ensuring trust and compliance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in financial leadership roles, with at least 5 years in crypto, blockchain, or fintech.
• Deep understanding of tokenomics, DeFi, stablecoins, and crypto trading strategies.
• Knowledge of blockchain accounting standards, crypto taxation, and international financial regulations.
• Experience with crypto exchanges, wallets, and decentralized finance (DeFi) platforms.
• Strong analytical, strategic planning, and decision-making skills.
• Familiarity with Islamic finance principles is a plus for Shariah-compliant projects.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Web3 fundraising, ICOs, STOs, or IEOs.
• Understanding of smart contracts, blockchain governance, and decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs).
• Familiarity with AI-driven financial analytics in crypto trading and risk assessment.

Level of Studies

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related fields.

Language Requirements

• Fluent in English.
