Billing Specialist
who wants their work to mean something — someone who brings accuracy, accountability, and purpose to the reimbursement process that supports patient access to care.
In this role, you’ll contribute to work that:

Helps patients maintain uninterrupted access to infusion therapy

Supports clinicians and operations teams through reliable revenue‑cycle execution

Ensures compliance with payer contracts and reimbursement standards

Strengthens a patient‑first, clinician‑led organization focused on outcomes
What You’ll Do:

Prepare and submit insurance claims for home infusion services, including medications, nursing, and supplies

Process electronic pharmacy claims to Medicare Part D, Medicaid, and commercial insurance plans

Verify that all prescription reimbursement data is complete, accurate, and entered timely prior to weekly and month‑end close

Confirm documentation aligns with billed services, codes, and expected reimbursement

Review payments received and apply them accurately to patient accounts through final resolution

Maintain a strong understanding of payer contracts, coverage criteria, and reimbursement guidelines
-
Address billing inquiries and resolve discrepancies with professionalism and clarity

Stay current on billing regulations, coding guidelines, and payer requirements

Work with clearinghouses and billing systems to support clean claims and efficient workflows

Assist with data entry, administrative, and clerical billing tasks as needed
Qualifications

Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking

A customer‑service mindset paired with financial accuracy

Comfort working in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment

Clear written and verbal communication skills

Ownership and care in work that directly affects patient access
Requirements

High school diploma or GED
-
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in medical billing and collections

Experience providing customer service to internal and external stakeholders

Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
