Act as the primary point of contact with tax consultants for direct tax, indirect tax, and withholding tax matters across all entities.

Own the compliance calendar end-to-end, ensuring timely preparation, review, and filing of tax returns and payments across jurisdictions.

Lead audit readiness and manage responses to tax audits, inquiries, and regulatory communications with confidence and precision.

Support tax planning initiatives and provide cross-border advisory for new transactions, entity structures, and commercial arrangements.

Monitor evolving global tax regulations and translate them into actionable compliance updates for the organisation.

Drive accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes including reconciliations and financial reporting.

Ensure strong internal controls, compliance with applicable standards, and proactive risk mitigation across the tax function.

Coordinate statutory and group audits in partnership with external auditors.

Collaborate with finance, legal, and operations teams and provide decision-ready financial insights to leadership.
Qualifications

Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 4 to 5 years of post-qualification experience.

Hands-on experience in direct tax and indirect tax, with a preference for candidates who have exposure to both rather than one in isolation.

Background in a Big 4 or mid-tier consulting firm, ideally from a Deals or Financial Due Diligence team, or from a SaaS or product technology company with a dedicated tax function.

Working knowledge of GST, cross-border taxation, and global tax frameworks.

Exposure to FP&A, strategic finance, or revenue recognition standards such as ASC 606 or IFRS 15.

Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP, or comparable automation tools.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to support business decisions through clear financial reasoning.

Comfortable working in a fully remote setup with the discipline and communication habits to thrive independently.
