Role Description

We are looking for a highly motivated Assistant Controller to join our fast growing, dynamic company. This position is fully remote. The Assistant Controller will serve as a trusted partner to the Controller and CFO and support our growth and strategy. The primary responsibilities include:

• Developing a strong team
• Overseeing accounting operations
• Implementing new processes and systems that help us scale

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Experience in leading a team
• Minimum 5 years’ work experience in accounting roles
• CPA preferred
• Experience with preparation of GAAP financial reports
• MS office skills, including Word and Excel, a must
• Experience with SAP B1 a plus
• Experience in distribution and/or publishing industries a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly detailed-oriented and well organized
