Role Description

The Analyst will primarily be responsible for completing accounting tasks such as preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and summarizing findings clearly and concisely. The role involves:

• Verifying the accuracy of the general ledger.
• Performing timely variance analysis for Balance Sheet and Income Statement accounts.
• Completing accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Identifying, investigating, and resolving discrepancies.
• Completing various quarterly reporting requirements.
• Presenting financials to leadership during month-end close calls.

The position requires decision-making, multi-tasking, and effective communication in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in Microsoft Excel; ability to work with large data sets and build/maintain complex spreadsheets.

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience in accounting or finance with an emphasis on month end close and analysis.
• Familiarity with financial systems or reporting tools (e.g., Oracle, Hyperion, Sequel, SAP).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, reliable work.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills, including ability to summarize findings clearly.
