Role Description

At [Company Name], we’re building something that goes far beyond traditional finance. We operate across the USA, UAE, and China—three of the world’s most distinct regulatory, cultural, and economic environments—and we need a financial mind sharp enough to hold it all together.

We’re looking for a global finance operator who thinks in systems, speaks the language of AI, and can serve as the connective tissue between three very different accounting worlds.

What You’ll Own

• Be the Bridge Across USA, UAE & China
  • Coordinate daily finance operations between our accounting teams in three jurisdictions—aligning on deadlines, reporting standards, and compliance without missing a beat.
  • Own intercompany reconciliations, multi-currency transactions, and cross-border cash flow—no two days will look the same.
  • Translate the nuances between US GAAP, IFRS, UAE VAT, and China’s Golden Tax System so that nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Lead cross-border finance sync calls and hold teams accountable across time zones.
• Champion AI in Finance—Don’t Just Use It, Shape It
  • Identify where AI can replace manual, repetitive finance tasks—and then actually make it happen.
  • Pilot and implement AI-powered tools for bookkeeping automation, intelligent forecasting, and smart invoice processing.
  • Work shoulder-to-shoulder with our tech team to build automation-ready finance workflows.
  • Be the person who walks into a room and says “we can automate that”—and means it.
• Master QuickBooks Across All Entities
  • Own the company’s QuickBooks ecosystem end-to-end: chart of accounts, payroll integrations, vendor payments, multi-currency setups, and reporting.
  • Optimize QuickBooks for multi-entity operations—because one size doesn’t fit three continents.
  • Train and elevate team members on QuickBooks best practices so the whole org levels up.
• Keep Us Compliant. Keep Us Clean.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements across all entities—accurate, on time, every time.
  • Stay ahead of regulatory shifts in the USA, UAE (VAT), and China (CIT, Golden Tax)—and flag anything that could bite us before it does.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors in each market like a seasoned pro.
• Drive Strategic Financial Insight
  • Build dashboards and KPI frameworks that give leadership real clarity—not just data dumps.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning across all three markets.
  • Turn numbers into narratives that drive smarter decisions at every level of the business.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience, with meaningful exposure to multi-entity or multi-jurisdiction finance.
• Expert-level QuickBooks proficiency—QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor is a serious plus.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, UAE VAT, and China’s accounting standards.
• CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification.
• Strong command of English; Mandarin or Arabic is a game-changer.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with AI-based finance tools (Botkeeper, Vic.ai, Docyt, Fathom, or similar).
• Advanced Excel / Google Sheets for financial modeling—pivot tables don’t scare you.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) is a bonus.
• Comfortable with BI tools like Power BI or Tableau to visualize financial data.
