Milliman's Seattle Health Practice is looking for an FSA with experience in health actuarial work. The position requires:

Qualifications

Bachelorβs degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, or a related field

FSA designation
-
Seven to ten years of healthcare actuarial experience
-
Meaningful experience in one or more of the following areas would be considered a βplusβ:
-
Medicaid rate-setting
-
Reserving and year-end statutory financials (βblueβ and βorangeβ blanks)

ACA pricing/rate filing
-
Medicare Advantage, especially bid development and understanding of revenue mechanisms (e.g., risk scores, star ratings)

Value-based provider contracting
-
Proficiency with Excel
-
Some knowledge of SAS, SQL, or R
-
Strong understanding of the US healthcare system
-
Demonstrable skills in presenting technical concepts to a non-technical audience in an understandable way
