[Hiring] Accounts Receivable Manager @Sevita

Role Description

This role is remote but candidate must reside in Iowa.

Do you have strong leadership skills, experience in accounts receivable, and want to work for a company that positively impacts the wellbeing of the individuals it serves? In the Business Finance AR Manager role, you will help this company in its commitment to serve others by:

• Overseeing quality assurance of the billing/AR processes
• Serving as a liaison with other departments and various state/local agencies
• Supervising daily and monthly revenue and cash activities to ensure that all payments are posted and that revenues are correctly recorded in a timely manner
• Planning, organizing, developing, and implementing financial standards, policies, procedures, and rules
• Auditing methods and procedures of the accounts receivable function to improve efficiency and maintain accurate records
• Completing monthly review of balance sheet accounts, particularly the bad debt reserve, reviewing sales allowance and accurately forecasting that for the remainder of the year, as applicable
• Auditing monthly procedures to be followed by each site, ensuring that all applicable information is received by company due dates
• Analyzing, interpreting, and communicating AR issues requiring management’s attention
• Maintaining an effective control environment for the assigned accounting operations

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Accounting or related field preferred
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable and some supervisory experience
• Must be highly organized with the ability to multi-task
• Exceptional attention to detail, effective communication skills, and strong management skills
• Demonstrated flexibility, efficient time management, and ability to prioritize workload
• A reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approach
