Engage2Excel is seeking an Accounts Receivable Agent based in the Montreal area or working remotely for a temporary full‑time position of one year, who is detail‑oriented, organized, and committed to delivering high‑quality financial support.

As an Accounts Receivable Agent, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate processing of payments, resolving discrepancies, and supporting positive client relationships through timely and professional communication.

Your Impact

• Support financial operations by ensuring accurate processing, reconciliation, and communication with clients.
• Contact customers regarding outstanding invoices and credit balances; arrange payments and respond to billing inquiries.
• Collaborate with Account Management to resolve payment issues (invoicing, pricing, product/service concerns).
• Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies and irregularities.
• Process cash receipts and prepare journal entries for bank deposits.
• Perform account reconciliations for accounts receivable.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records (cash receipts, invoices, documentation).
• Obtain and provide information via phone, email, or other channels to resolve issues efficiently.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of related Accounts Receivable or accounting support experience.
• Familiarity with accounting systems such as RCA and Great Plains Dynamics is an asset.
• Familiarity with accounting terminology and procedures (cash application, reconciliations, data entry).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing financial information.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database systems.
• Bilingual (English and French).
